Why this course exists

What if we could change the trajectory of illness?

“The highest form of homeopathy is first aid prescribing. You homeopaths...you think it's all this fancy miasms stuff and chronic stuff and constitutional? It's not...It's first aid. Almost every chronic case, if you take it back, where did it start? It started as a shock, with a grief, an accident, with a medical procedure that went wrong. It started as a first aid situation and if that had been properly treated in the moment, someone had a home remedy kit and they knew what to do, this whole chain of health problems would never have needed to happen.”

Ian Watson quoting the great late Robin Murphy
What Heals Podcast with Lisa Strbac

So many chronic cases can be traced back to an acute moment. When we trace the story back, there was often:

• A shock
• A grief
• A significant fever or illness
• A rash or acute episode
• A child who never quite bounced back

We spend so much time asking how to treat chronic illness. Perhaps we should also be asking what happened at the beginning.

The acute phase isn’t simply something to get through. It can be one of the most important opportunities to influence long-term health. That idea sits at the heart of PIHAP.

You’ll learn to recognise those pivotal moments and prescribe with confidence using a structured, ethical approach to Acute Integrative Homeopathy™.

This is acute prescribing with the bigger picture in mind, recognising that what happens in an acute moment may matter far beyond that moment.

By the end of this course

You'll be able to…

  • Offer Acute Integrative Homeopathy safely and confidently, with a clear understanding of your scope
  • Repertorise accurately and confirm your prescription using materia medica
  • Select the remedy, potency and repetition strategy with confidence
  • Prescribe for common acute presentations including fevers, coughs, migraines, hayfever, digestive upsets, injuries, emotional shocks and much more
  • Recognise red flags, know when to refer and practise with professional clarity
  • Integrate tissue salts, Narayani remedies, sarcodes and organ support into your practice
  • Use flower essences to support the emotional picture
  • Understand how tautopathy and isopathy may be used following short-term exposures such as anaesthetics and X-rays
  • Build an ethical Acute Integrative Homeopathy service within your existing practice or as a standalone clinic
  • Offer workshops and remedy-kit guidance to help others use homeopathy more confidently
  • Offer Acute Integrative Homeopathy consultations in person, within your community or online

Vicky · PIHAP 2026 Graduate

Your scope is clear: PIHAP qualifies you to practise Acute Integrative Homeopathy within its defined acute scope. It does not qualify you as a classical homeopath or for long-term chronic prescribing. Local regulations and insurance requirements vary, so graduates should always check the requirements where they intend to practise.

What graduates say

This course is next level. I've previously studied full-time professional homeopathy courses and I've learnt more from PIHAP in 2 modules than I did in my previous 2 year professional homeopathy course over 6 months.

AB · Australia

The portal has been so slick and uncomplicated. The case studies have been fab snapshots that we can return to easily. I'm actually feeling quite emotional that it's finishing up.

NG · USA

Thank you for developing a course that bridges the gap between home prescribing and full study. This course has brought so much confidence and trust in myself that I didn't know was there.

SS · USA

It's not just learning remedies — it's learning how to actually think. So well structured you don't get overwhelmed, but still incredibly in depth.

JL · UK

I have learned more on this course about health and where true healing begins than in my career in academia and the pharmaceutical industry.

AC · USA

I absolutely loved PIHAP and can’t talk highly enough about it!! Best thing I’ve done!
It has made in my opinion such a huge impact on my existing clients healing by adding homeopathic into their sessions for acute ailments and even more. The feedback I’m getting from my clients and how things have changed for them is the best! I can’t thank you enough for creating this fantastic course!

KA · New Zealand

My eyes are filled with tears for the lost years, but my heart is filled with such joy for what is to come with this work. Nothing has oriented me the way your teaching has.

KK · USA

I’m so grateful to be apart of this course. It has honestly been life changing and I am just so excited to bring this amazing modality to my clients. I am even more excited to feel more confident in prescribing to my kids and loved ones as they are my why for everything I do.

The content in this course and the way you delivered it, as well as the guest speakers absolutely exceeded my expectations and was so much more in depth than I imagined. I feel so lucky to be a part of the first cohort and am truly excited for your future students in this course.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙏

DP · USA

The course has been phenomenal!! It really has felt like a gift - we have covered sooooo much. The lecturers were all fabulous. I could listen to this stuff all day every day. It's been so well organised, the material delivered in such a memorable way. The portal has been so slick and uncomplicated. The case studies have been fab snap shots that we can return to easily.

I am actually feeling quite emotional that it is finishing up, as it is one of the few places that I came to shower my head.

FA · UK

As a certified homeopath, it was a wonderful review of acute prescribing, remedies, and techniques. I enjoyed a sense of community by being part of this cohort and participating in the PIHAP Community group. The guest tutors and live sessions were great. I especially liked that the modules were broken into smaller bits so that viewing each presentation usually took less than 90 minutes.

JA · USA

I just really loved this program so much. It felt like coming home being around others who love and are so fascinated and passionate about homeopathy. I thought I’d be overwhelmed or wouldn’t be able to handle the work load but I really couldn’t wait for the next module to drop and drive deep into the next topic! Thank you Lisa for creating this amazing program. It’s been life changing for my family and I cannot wait to see how the knowledge I’ve gained helps others.

KN · USA

I have to thank you so much for your hard work putting this course together. It has truly been outstanding. I am so blessed to come across your courses and books. There is so much information with such fabulous tutors I don’t really know where to start! With lifetime access, I cannot ask for more. Each module has been well structured and so informative. I feel confident to start acute prescribing straight away and cannot wait to bring workshops to empower people to use remedies confidently at home. Thank you so much, I am quite sad that it’s finished to be honest!

JL · Australia

Honestly, one of the best courses I have studied. Amazing lectures full of wisdom, practical advice and lessons that can be applied straight away. It has exceeded all of my expectations.

TN · UK

I almost didn’t sign up for this course because I didn’t think I worth the financial investment. Today that feels like a different person. You gave me homeopathy, but this course provided the challenge I needed to see myself in another light. I now have confidence that I didn’t know I missed, and it extents far beyond the scope of what you beautifully covered in this course. Thank you from the depths of my heart.

MW · UK

I have been on cloud 9 throughout this course with my learning. The content is absolutely fascinating. Thank you for the very intentional approach to the content... I feel so grateful we have the opportunity to be exposed at this level. It has illuminated things for me with myself and my children - I am a “PANS adult,” and my kids are p/p… Your purposeful details in this content-rich class have not gone unnoticed.

EG · USA

I absolutely love this PIHAP course. I love the “no nonsense” way Lisa teaches her course, Lisa and the guest tutors are utterly amazing with a wealth of knowledge you cannot find anywhere else.

Lisa Strbac LCHE BSc(Hons)

HOMEOPATH · AUTHOR · EDUCATOR · FOUNDER OF AIH

Lisa has helped thousands of people bring homeopathy into their homes, their practices and their everyday lives. Through her bestselling books, sold-out courses and straight-talking teaching, she has become known for turning deep homeopathic wisdom into practical tools people can actually use.

She created PIHAP to fill a critical gap she saw again and again: acute homeopathy being misunderstood, misused or missed entirely.

The result is a new kind of professional training: structured, practical and rooted in core homeopathic principles, while bringing in the wider tools and perspectives of modern integrative practice.

In 2025, Lisa received the Complementary Medical Association’s “Outstanding Contribution to Homeopathy” Award — recognising her pioneering work in ethical, accessible homeopathy education worldwide.

Guest lecturers

A faculty of respected voices

PIHAP brings together experienced practitioners and specialist teachers to deepen different aspects of your Acute Integrative Homeopathy training.

Caroline Gaskin

Caroline Gaskin

Narayani & Flower Essences

Caroline has been in practice for 25 years and is a much-loved lecturer and tutor. Caroline will be teaching students the Narayani Remedies and Flower Essences in two separate modules.

Like many women, she came to natural health through her children and first used homeopathy when her son was just 4m old. He had a cough and the GP offered him a sedative. Caroline knew instinctively that she didn’t want to give medicine with unwanted side effects and instead went to see a homeopath at a drop in clinic. The homeopath wanted to know ‘how’ the cough was for him and what he was like as a person. Caroline was fascinated by the difference of approach and the remedies worked. Homeopathy soon became the family’s primary health choice. When her children were old enough she went on to study homeopathy and flower essences.

Originally from a fine art background, she has also worked in PR for complementary health and has studied permaculture and sustainable systems.

Wren Lloyd

Wren Lloyd

Nosodes & Practice Building

Wren will be sharing her knowledge on practice building and nosodes with a focus on how these incredible remedies can be used in Acute Integrative Prescribing.

Wren writes courses for homeopaths and people who like to empower their own health. She also founded International Homeopaths for Autism, a team that specialise in working with children & adults with chronic health issues especially the needs and conditions often experienced by those autistic people.

She previously trained as a sociologist and a teacher and loves to present ideas in exciting and eye catching ways.

Ian Watson

Ian Watson

Miasms

Ian has worked in the wellbeing and personal transformation space for over 30 years and will be offering students an introductory insight into miasms.

Ian has written numerous highly regarded homeopathy books and was the founder of The Lakeland College which provided professional training in homeopathy and related healing modalities.

In 2011 Ian was introduced to the Three Principles understanding and found in the work of Sydney Banks a deep resonance with what he already knew to be true - Ian came to see that wellbeing is a constant within every human being, but due to the way our experience gets created it can often appear to be lost or diminished. Gaining insightful understanding into these principles brings about effortless transformation and truly sustainable change.

Monique Carmen

Monique Carmen

Organ Support & Therapeutics

Having been introduced to homeopathy in her late twenties, Monique was a proficient home prescriber. However, when she was diagnosed with a serious illness, she realised it was time to make a switch from her high-stress job, and retrained as a homeopath. She is also a qualified health coach and yoga teacher, which never overtook her passion for homeopathy, but do provide her with a broader information base from which to support her clients.

Monique has a special interest in Eczema and Lichen Sclerosus and predominately works online to meet the current trend with clients. She also works one day a week at Ainsworths homeopathic pharmacy where she provides over the counter advice on acute illnesses and dispenses homeopathic remedies.

Monique will be sharing her knowledge on organ support, therapeutics and combination remedies.

Charn Duggal

Charn Duggal

PANDAS / PANS FLARES

Charn is a homeopath specialising in complex children, with a particular focus on ASD, PANS/PANDAS and CVS.

She came to homeopathy through her own journey, after her son was diagnosed with multiple conditions and conventional medicine had no answers. A short introduction to homeopathy in 2016 sparked a complete transformation, both for her family and her career.

Charn has since worked with hundreds of children and co-founded International Homeopaths for Autism (IH4A) alongside Wren Lloyd. She brings the rare perspective of both practitioner and parent and a deep passion for helping families find hope.

Charn will be sharing her knowledge on PANDAS/PANS with a focus on remedies for acute flares.

Roger Savage

Roger Savage

Case-Taking Skills

Roger has been in practice for 45 years and will be sharing his wisdom on case-taking skills and also attending some of the live Q&As.

Initially Roger was a radionics practitioner, but homeopathy was always his first love. One day Roger found himself ignoring the radionic device and reaching for his notepad to take the patient’s symptoms. He felt he’d got back on to the path that was right for him.

Roger has a thriving online practice and for the last five years has been working with Ton Jansen using the Human Chemistry method, which has given Roger the pleasure of working with patients internationally! Roger now also holds a joint online clinic with Ton Jansen for really complex cases.

Claire Zarb

Claire Zarb

Hormonal Flare Ups

Claire is a homeopath with a special interest in hormonal health and women’s acute issues - from PMS and period pains to hot flushes and postnatal support.

Her journey began with her own struggles - acne, IBS, mood swings and hormonal chaos made worse by years on the pill and a high-stress corporate job. Finding homeopathy changed everything. It helped her detox, rebalance and reclaim her health and inspired her to leave the corporate world to retrain as a practitioner.

Claire will be sharing her insights in a spotlight session on how to recognise and support acute hormonal flare-ups using homeopathy.

Sapna Devi

Sapna Devi

Make Your Own Remedy & Autonosodes

Sapna is a homeopath and educator with a focus on women’s health through life’s hormonal thresholds — from fertility and pregnancy to perimenopause and beyond.

Her own story led her here: struggling with her health, she found homeopathy when conventional medicine offered no real answers. It helped her feel seen, whole, and back in rhythm with her body and inspired her to train so she could help others do the same.

Sapna will be teaching a hands-on session on how to make your own remedy, including placenta and autonosodes remedies, giving you the confidence to explore this powerful and practical side of homeopathy.

Natasha Burns

Natasha Burns

Homeopathic Detox

Natasha Burns is a Homeopath, Certified Fertility Coach and Hormone Healer who specialises in helping women overcome unexplained infertility and restore balance naturally. Through her signature Homeopathic Fertility Programme, she combines homeopathy, lifestyle guidance, and gentle detox to address the root causes of hormonal and reproductive imbalance.

Her work helps clear the body of residual blocks, from pharmaceuticals and environmental toxins to stress and nutrient depletion, allowing the system to reset and function as it was designed to.

Inside the Academy, Natasha will be joining us for a live Q&A on Homeopathic Detox - exploring what can safely be done within acute prescribing, and when referral for deeper support is essential.

Angelica Lemke ND

Angelica Lemke ND

Intuitive Prescribing

Angelica Lemke is a naturopathic doctor, homeopath and author whose work explores the meeting point between homeopathic knowledge, clinical experience and intuition. She is particularly interested in helping practitioners develop greater trust in their own perception while remaining grounded in sound prescribing principles.

Inside PIHAP, Angelica will be exploring intuitive prescribing and how intuition can be developed and used alongside repertorisation, materia medica and clinical reasoning to support remedy and potency selection.

Sarah Valentini

Sarah Valentini

Insect Remedies & Mast Cell Reactions

Sarah Valentini is a homeopath and educator with a particular interest in complex and highly reactive cases. Her teaching brings together detailed materia medica with the patterns and sensitivities that can become especially important when working with acute presentations.

Sarah will be taking PIHAP students into the fascinating world of insect remedies, exploring their use in acute prescribing with particular attention to heightened reactivity, sensitivity and mast cell presentations.

Gordon Sambidge

Gordon Sambidge

Polychrest Deep Dive

Gordon Sambidge is a practising homeopath, educator and Principal of Central College of Homeopathy. Through his teaching, he brings the depth of traditional materia medica into practical clinical prescribing, helping students move beyond simply memorising remedy indications to understanding the person and pattern behind the remedy.

For PIHAP, Gordon will be taking a deep dive into some of homeopathy’s most widely used remedies, exploring their distinctive remedy pictures and the nuances that help us differentiate them confidently in practice.

Dr Andy Kaufman

Dr Andy Kaufman

Vital Minerals

Dr. Andy Kaufman, a “recovering physician,” transitioned from a prestigious mainstream medical career to challenge conventional paradigms. Trained in allopathic medicine, his journey of questioning traditional principles led him to become a dynamic educator and speaker. Dr. Andy shares insights on medicine, viruses, and natural healing, while exploring interconnected fields like economics, law, and science, offering a holistic perspective that inspires critical thinking.

With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from MIT, an MD from the University of South Carolina, and a psychiatric residency at Duke University, Dr. Andy has held academic leadership roles, contributed to research, and patented a medical device. Now, he dedicates himself to researching and delivering trustworthy products and protocols, empowering health-seekers to achieve optimal wellness.

Dr. Andy will be delivering a lesson on the vital minerals that underpin true health — exploring why, even with the best diet, our modern environment makes it almost impossible to stay replete. Mineral imbalance is one of the most overlooked maintaining causes in homeopathy, and restoring it is often the first step toward deeper healing.

Natasha Andreo

Natasha Andreo

Tissue Salts & Facial Analysis

Natasha is a Medical Astrologer, internationally certified Tissue Salts Facial Analyst, and experienced Animal Communicator.

Natasha’s work in medical astrology began with the discovery of the Innani Tub—an archetype she interprets as the body’s role as a vessel for planetary influence. This became the foundation of her practice, where the human body is seen as a reflection of the cosmos. Through years of study, she has mapped how planets and zodiac signs correspond to specific organs and systems, creating a celestial blueprint within each person. Guided by this philosophy, Natasha blends planetary alignments, lunar cycles, and astrological insight to reveal energetic imbalances and support both physical and emotional well-being. In her practice, Natasha offers deep explorations into tissue salts and provides accessible introductions to medical astrology.

Natasha will be deep diving into the tissue salts and how these can be applied in everyday practice.

Eileen McKusick

Eileen McKusick

The Biofield, Energy & Resonance

Eileen McKusick is a pioneering biofield researcher, author and founder of Biofield Tuning. Her work explores the electrical nature of the human body, resonance and the role of energy and information in our understanding of health and healing.

For PIHAP, Eileen will be offering an introduction to the biofield and electric health, opening up a wider perspective on how we might understand energetic medicine and the mechanisms that may sit behind modalities such as homeopathy.

Frequently asked questions

Who is PIHAP for?

PIHAP brings together students from a wide range of backgrounds. You may already be working as a nutritionist, naturopath, health coach, kinesiologist, functional medicine practitioner or in another holistic modality and want to integrate homeopathy into your existing work. You may be an experienced home prescriber ready to take your knowledge to practitioner level, a qualified homeopath wanting to strengthen your acute and integrative prescribing, or completely new to formal homeopathy training.

PIHAP is suitable for all levels, with training that builds from the foundations through to practitioner level in Acute Integrative Homeopathy.

Do I need any prior experience in homeopathy?

No. PIHAP has been deliberately designed so that somebody completely new to homeopathy can begin with the foundations and progress alongside students who already have considerable experience.

The early modules establish the principles, case-taking, materia medica and repertorisation skills you’ll need, before the course expands into the wider integrative toolkit. Everything builds progressively, so you are never expected to arrive knowing what you have come to PIHAP to learn.

What is Acute Integrative Homeopathy?

Acute Integrative Homeopathy is our unique approach to acute prescribing. It teaches practitioners how to prescribe safely and effectively for short-term conditions, using repertorisation and materia medica alongside an expanded acute toolkit that includes tissue salts, flower essences, sarcodes, organ support and safe nosodes. This approach is structured, ethical and practical — designed to integrate homeopathy both into wider healing modalities and into the mainstream.

What will I actually be qualified to do after PIHAP?

PIHAP qualifies you specifically as a Practitioner of Integrative Homeopathy: Acute Prescribing, working within the scope of Acute Integrative Homeopathy for short-term and acute presentations.

Graduates may use this training to offer Acute Integrative Homeopathy as a standalone service or integrate it into an existing holistic practice. You’ll be trained in case-taking, repertorisation, materia medica, potency and repetition, red flags and referral, alongside the wider integrative toolkit taught throughout PIHAP. The qualification does not extend to the management of long-term chronic cases.

As with any professional training, regulations and insurance requirements vary by country, so students should check the requirements that apply where they intend to practise.

Why does PIHAP include an introduction to classical homeopathy and miasms if the qualification is focused on Acute Integrative Prescribing?

Because acute cases don’t exist in isolation. Understanding classical and constitutional prescribing, miasms and the wider homeopathic picture helps you recognise when an acute presentation may be part of something broader and when referral for longer-term homeopathic care may be appropriate.

These modules are there to give you context, understanding and better clinical judgement. What PIHAP does not attempt to replace is the extensive clinical training and experience required to manage complex, long-term chronic cases. Understanding the theory is very different from developing the clinical experience to practise it professionally.

What's the weekly time commitment, and how is it assessed?

22 modules delivered January–May, with integration weeks built in to absorb the material, complete assignments at your pace and grow real-world confidence.

Each week you’ll need to commit to around 4-8 hours of learning structured as:
• Weekly pre-recorded video lessons
• 1 optional live Q&A (recorded for replay)
• Practical exercises, quizzes and casework to apply what you learn

📝 You’ll be assessed through:
• Weekly quizzes
• A Red Flags assessment
• An Ethics assessment
• Casework assignments
• A Final Recap test

What happens in the live sessions?

Throughout the programme you’ll have optional live sessions where you can bring your questions and consolidate what you’ve been learning. You’ll also have opportunities to learn live from some of PIHAP’s specialist guest tutors, bringing decades of combined experience across homeopathy and integrative health into the classroom.

We strongly encourage you to attend live whenever you can. Some of the richest learning happens in the conversations, questions and clinical pearls that emerge in these sessions. All sessions are recorded, so if time zones or life make it impossible to attend, you can catch up afterwards.

Will I be part of a student community?

Yes. For the duration of the programme you’ll have access to the private PIHAP student community alongside your fellow 2027 students.

It becomes a place to ask questions, share insights and connect with people around the world who are going through the same training alongside you.

For many of our first cohort, the community and friendships formed through PIHAP became a very special part of the experience.

Can I join PIHAP from outside the UK?

Absolutely. PIHAP is an international programme and our 2026 cohort included students from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and across Central Europe.

All teaching is online, so you can study from anywhere in the world. The optional live Q&A sessions are recorded for anyone who can’t attend because of time zones, and you’ll also be learning alongside an international community of students throughout the programme.

On successful completion, PIHAP graduates are eligible to apply for professional membership with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), whose membership is available internationally.

As regulations and insurance requirements vary between countries, students should still check the requirements applicable where they intend to practise.

Can I continue my homeopathy studies after PIHAP?

PIHAP is a complete practitioner qualification within its own scope of Acute Integrative Homeopathy, but for some students, the love of homeopathy only grows the more they learn and they naturally decide to continue studying.

Our 2026 graduates were warmly welcomed by a number of established homeopathy schools, with scholarships and progression offers made available to some students. For 2027, we’ll continue to signpost optional further-study routes with accredited homeopathy schools, including opportunities available specifically to PIHAP graduates.

Many graduates also choose to continue learning inside The Atrium, our international homeopathy community, with regular live teaching, specialist guest sessions and an ever-growing library of courses and replays.

Further study and Atrium membership are entirely optional and separate from PIHAP.

How long do I get access to the course materials for?

You get course lifetime access to all materials. You can revisit lessons, deepen your understanding and stay confident in your skills long after the course ends.

Do I need to buy any books or equipment for PIHAP?

Yes. To get the most from the course, you’ll need hard copies of Murphy’s Homeopathic Medical Repertory and a Materia Medica. These are essential tools for repertorisation and remedy comparison. Full details and recommendations will be sent before the course begins.

What will I receive upon completion?

Upon successful completion, you’ll graduate as a Practitioner of Integrative Homeopathy: Acute Prescribing (PIHAP), receive your practitioner certificate and become eligible to apply for professional membership with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).

PIHAP is a professional qualification specifically within the scope of Acute Integrative Homeopathy. Regulations, professional titles and insurance requirements vary by country, so students should check the requirements that apply where they intend to practise.

Are places limited for the January 2027 cohort?

Yes places for January 2027 are limited. The 2026 founding cohort sold out, so if you know you would like to join us, we recommend securing your place rather than waiting until January.
